Some photos are just too dense to drop onto a slide. There is no white space for a headline, and the moment you add a brand color the text disappears into the background. This video shows a three-step fix, crop the image to full bleed, pull the saturation out, then layer a dark transparent shape behind the text. Same image, completely different slide.

Two critical vulnerabilities in PHP, the language running roughly 70 percent of the world’s websites, let an attacker execute code on a server with no login required. Patches are out. The part worth your attention is how the flaws were found: AI turned a process that used to take weeks into one that takes hours, which means the window between disclosure and exploitation is closing fast. Patch management timelines that felt fine last year do not hold up against that.
Stephen Hicks went deeper on this in October’s Cybersecurity Office Hours, alongside forged certificates, the ConnectWise Cloud Backup compromise, and what AI is changing about attacker speed. Watch the recording here.

An Anthropic product engineer walks through how his team uses Claude inside a shared doc, surfacing discussion topics during standup, pulling numbers into launch write-ups, pressure testing his own conclusions, and handling teammate comments. The interesting part is where he keeps himself in the loop and where he hands the work off.
If you want to see that applied to real business problems, the next AI Office Hours is November 3rd from 1 to 2 PM PT, where fractional CFO David Smith shares how he built a full board presentation in a single day and cut a 75-minute daily reconciliation down to 3 minutes. Register here.
