Unanswered Questions
Below are the answers to questions we couldn't answer live.
Q1) I’m on a MacBook and using Co-Pilot. I’d like to be able to summarize key takeaways from my OneNote meetings that I have. I haven’t found that it can comb through all my folders to get to the answers I seek without my finding the meeting/folder. What am I missing?
Answer: There is a copilot in-app agent, the ability for the out-of-app copilots to examine the contents of OneNote notebooks is still limited.
Q2) I’m finding Co-Pilot isn’t as robust as the other LLMs in terms of reasoning. To what extent can we know that ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc. keep our confidential data safe by ensuring Data Privacy is turned on in the paid subscriptions?
Answer (from Stephen Hicks, Security Practice Manager):
Q3) I heard Google Notebook LM keeps your confidential data safe if you use the google account for your company (similar to using a Google Drive.). Is that true?
Answer (from Stephen Hicks, Security Practice Manager):
Q4) Are there any privacy or security concerns with using an application like Co-Pilot?
Answer (from Stephen Hicks, Security Practice Manager): We believe this video might answer your question: https://www.endsight.net/security-shorts/how-hackers-use-ai. However, please reach out to us if it didn't or if you have any additional questions!
Q5) A client of ours uses Otter.ai. Are you familiar with that product?
Answer: I'm not familiar with Otter.ai specifically.
Q6) Is there a way to monitor the amount of copilot usage per user?
Answer: There are a number of metrics to monitor Copilot usage by user - most of these are available in the 365 admin center, which users don't typically have access to. We could, with approval, possibly open some of those areas up to specified users and walk you through how to use them - If you want to put a 30 min consultation on my calendar (the first one is at no charge 🙂 ) I can walk you through some of the metrics available.
