Microsoft Teams picked up twelve updates, and a few of them fix annoyances that have been around for years. One of them finally lets you sort out your mic and speaker before you join a meeting instead of finding out live. The redesigned meeting experience is in public preview now and rolls out more broadly later this year. Four of the twelve require a Copilot license. If anyone on your team has asked whether ChatGPT is safe to use for work, this segment is a useful reality check. Chat histories stick around, sometimes for years, and they can be subpoenaed and used as evidence in court. A Stanford privacy researcher featured in the clip explains how little visibility anyone has into what actually happens to conversation data once it enters a training pipeline. The advice is specific and practical, covering what to strip out before uploading a file and which setting quietly reduces your exposure.

The gap between a mediocre AI answer and a genuinely useful one is usually the question, not the tool. This clip walks through the difference with a simple everyday example, and the pattern transfers straight to work. Say what you are trying to do, who it is for, and what you want back, then refine inside the same conversation rather than starting over. It also lands a point worth repeating to your team, a more detailed prompt does not mean a more personal one. There is no reason to hand over names, account numbers, or anything you would not share with a stranger.
