Each week, you'll receive two practical, bite-sized tips. One to help you get more out of Microsoft 365, and one to strengthen your online security. Each tip comes in a short, easy-to-follow video, carefully selected by the Endsight team to help you work more efficiently and stay protected.

We often include a bonus tip too. These extras might feature AI tips, clips from recent webinars, or leadership advice from our Founder and CEO.

Tip of the Week: Windows Taskbar, New Scams, Microsoft 365 Copilot

  • Windows 11 can move the taskbar again, and the Start menu opened up too.
  • Social engineering now spans LinkedIn, text, and voice in a single attack, with no red flags.
  • Microsoft rebuilt Copilot around one entry point, with agents and full Office apps inside.

Microsoft

Windows 11 can move the taskbar again. Left, right, or top, with Start and the rest of the interface adjusting around it. The same update opens up the Start menu and Windows search settings, so the layout you look at all day is no longer fixed. There are real limits on multi-monitor setups and autohide, and the video walks through those along with how to check whether your PC has the setting yet.

Cybersecurity

Social engineering is not staying inside the inbox. An attack can begin with a LinkedIn connection, continue in a text message, and end with a phone call that sounds completely legitimate, with no single step looking suspicious on its own. So when one of those messages lands in front of you, what should you be asking yourself? This video has the answer.

Today is the first day of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and security tips and news stories will keep coming throughout October as always. If you want to go deeper, register for Cybersecurity Office Hours on October 23: https://get.endsight.net/cybersecurity/office/hours

AI

Microsoft has rebuilt Copilot around a single starting point. Instead of choosing between chat, agents, and documents, you describe what you want done and Copilot routes it, with full Office apps now running inside Copilot rather than exporting out of it. It is an early look, but the direction matters for anyone standardizing on Microsoft 365. The video includes a walkthrough with the team who built it.
